There are thousands hotels in UK from 1 star to 5 star. Hotels such as Travelodge, Premier Inn and Ibis are all planning to replace their old furniture with modern furniture if not done so already in the past. In last couple of years many hotels have replaced their old furniture with new contemporary furniture to target more customers. Some of the smaller brand names of hotels such as Travelodge, Ibis and Premier Inn have further dropped their room prices to compete with the big boys.

If you visit Heathrow or Central London you will see most hotels have replaced their old furniture with new furniture. The hotel furniture they get these days is modern looking and eye catchy. Few years ago these hotels did not have comfortable furniture even though they were cheap they never used to get enough customers. Since then they have realised that no matter how cheap the prices are people would still prefer to stay or sleep in a place where they feel comfortable.

Simple example is Premier's Inn TV advert. The advert itself is reaching people and telling them they might be cheap but they still provide that comfort and relaxed environment. They have shown that they have change the way they used to look with new modern furniture and also have shown that the price is still the same so anyone can afford to stay there. Even the hotel's bar/s have new bar furniture for general public to enjoy few drinks with their friends and family before heading out or going to bed.

Many private bars and restaurants have already started changing their furniture to target more business. It's true that we get attracted to good looking and new things no doubt about it (even after you are married haha). We get pulled towards attractive things, it is just the way human nature is.
