Why MLM? Why Now?

By January 31st, 2010

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you are well aware that we are in the midst of the worst economy since the Great Depression.Unemployment is in double digits and those who have held onto their jobs are now required to do more work for less pay.  Employee morale is at an all time low as evidenced by a recent report finding that 45% of American workers are unsatisfied in their jobs.

I can share a recent personal experience of seeing first hand the burnout of the American worker when I visited my attorney.  You see, I started my career in the commercial real estate industry and had many tenants that were law firms.Just a few years ago, it was common for an attorney to have one dedicated legal assistant.  I was shocked last week when visiting my attorney and speaking with his assistant to learn that she was assisting three other attorneys in addition to him.  That is a 400% increase in workload!

While technology makes us more efficient, this has gone too far.Companies are taking advantage of their employees and it is taking a toll on the American worker.  This same worker has seen their retirement funds vanish, their friends and co-workers laid-off, and are now carrying an unhealthy personal burden and stress on their shoulders each day.

On the contrary, a separate recent study on our economy estimated that there will be 10 million new millionaires created in the next 10 years.  The majority of these millionaires will come in two industries – the health & wellness industry, and the MLM industry.

Why are economists predicting such explosive growth in the network marketing industry?Because people are sick of working 12 hours per day, living paycheck to paycheck just to make someone else wealthy.  People are searching for opportunity.

But starting your own traditional business requires a massive amount of capital and huge risk exposure.  In today’s tight credit market, obtaining a loan to open a business is nearly impossible.

On the other hand, network marketing has a very low start up cost, is a business you can start in your spare time, and offers tremendous income potential if you are willing to get the proper training and work hard.

Do I recommend you to get your piece of this millionaire-making industry?  Absolutely, yes!  Your circumstances will not change on their own; you must take the initiative and do what is best for your future and your family’s future.

The good news is that the only barriers to your success are getting the proper training and be willing to do what most people are unwilling to do – work hard.  So if you are ready, turn off your TV at night and devote an extra 2-3 hours per day building your business and laying the foundation for your success.

Start today, don't put off your success any longer.  Make a decisioin to finally do something to change your lot in life.  Create a plan B in case your job goes away.  Maybe that plan B will turn into something greater than you have ever imagined!
